Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

I can’t remember exactly what I did, but this should work. =) We got to use fresh strawberries from our patch. I’m glad we actually had enough to make something. Usually we just have a few, and thankfully this year we had enough to do something with!

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt  (2)

Strawberry Yogurt

1 cup milk

1/3 – 2/3 cup honey

2 eggs

1-2 T. cornstarch

1 cup purreed strawberries

1 T. vanilla

Plain yogurt (flavored would be good, too!)

In a small saucepan, beat milk, honey, eggs, and cornstarch until smooth. Cook on low heat until thickened and bubbly. Cool. Blend in vanilla and strawberries. Pour into a 1-quart ice cream freezer and add enough yogurt to fill the freezer. Process as directed with ice cream freezer and enjoy!!

You’ll need more honey than just 1/3 cup unless you like it pretty tart. =)
