Chex Caramel Corn Bars
4 cups chocolate chex (or rice chex)
4 cups popcorn
1 cup pretzel sticks, coarsly broken
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup butter
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine chex, popcorn, and pretzels. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Pour over cereal; stir well. Press into a greased 9×13″ pan. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips until smooth. Drizzle over bars. Let cool. Cut into squares – 8×4. Yield: 32 bars
